Blackwood Town Council is pleased to share the outcome of our Annual Meeting.

Members have elected Cllr George Etheridge as Mayor of Blackwood for the coming year. George’s dedication to the town, its residents, and local community life is well known, and we are proud to see him take on the civic chain and lead Blackwood throughout the year ahead.

We are also delighted to confirm Cllr Jan Griffiths as Deputy Mayor. Jan brings experience, commitment, and a strong community focus, making her a valued support to the Mayor as they work together in service of the town. Blackwood Town Council wishes both the Mayor and Deputy Mayor every success in their roles for the year ahead.
